With offices across the country the desire was to create flexibility, unity and parity in the various offices, renovating and expanding over 380,000 square feet of predominately engineering project team space in Texas and Illinois. Placing a premium on natural light, the response resulted in a flipping of the traditional open to closed workspace ratio to 75/25. Those few offices on the perimeter featured glass facades to maximize the infiltration of light. The workstation groups share a common low file/shelf bank with layout space above for impromptu team meetings.
